Thanks very much and I recommend this place! The hotel is fairly clean, with excellent personal, and offers convenient location just off a lovely walk through Ashbury park, and Ashbury Park;))
Nothing bad to say!

Unit was very warm and cosy. Portacot already set up on arrival.
Only hubby got a shower in the morning, There was a full house but this was still an unexpected downside. No hot water when I went to shower.

I booked my Niece into the Ashbury Park Motel as a wedding gift to the Bride and Groom, I was so glad to hear from my Niece that she and her Husband really enjoyed their stay at this Motel, when I made this booking the manager was very efficient and very friendly to talk to he advised me that his wife was very excited about this event and went out of her way to put Chocolates and Champagne into their Room at no extra cost for this we are very grateful. This is a young couple that have four children and haven't had any time alone in a very long time so yes your service was brilliant and much appreciated. On behalf of the families of both the Bride and Groom we thank you very very much and wish you well for the future.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, well furnished and comfortable room. A large shopping complex only a few mintutes walking distance or 1 minute drive away. Very friendly & helpful staff. Free wireless internet was an added bonus.
The motel was easily located, but, travelling from the south, we didnt realize that we had to turn down a side street to enter from a parallel street. The signage for this was more obvious travelling from the north. Pretty ordinary water pressure in the shower and very little adjustment in the shower head.

Motel owner very helpful with accommodating my need for room away from noisy road.
Poor quality shower - shower head needed de calcification. Nowhere in bathroom to dry hair. Room only suitable for single person - not a couple.

We were greeted and shown right to our room and given the milk for our coffee and the food stuffs for our continental breakfast. The room was light and airy, a full wall of windows. The unit had a bedroom with a queen bed and a single in the living area. The kitchenette was equipped for preparing meals. The shower was small, but the shower head and the hot water took away the muscle aches from our first full day in New Zealand. The beds were comfortable and a great restaurant was just down the road. The room was immaculate and included free wifi. This was a great find for value in our accomodations.

Conveniently located, this hotel was a great value stop during our Easter trip. We were welcomed with friendliness and even offered fresh milk. The well-equipped full kitchen in our room made meal prep a breeze. the comfortable beds and functional heating were appreciated on a cold autumn night.
The traffic noise was a disturbance at night making for a restless sleep. the limited wall plugs were inconvenient.

The motel was convenient, spotlessly clean comfortable and quiet thanks to double glazing.
The wireless internet was slightly inconvenient only being available from 2pm to 10pm. I like to check e mails and read the newspapers online with my morning coffee but since I only stayed two nights this was no big problem and would not stop me booking this motel again if I am travelling to Timaru.

This place is a great spot to stay for exploring the area - we found a KFC nearby, it was only a 10-minute walk to Caroline Bay Beach, and the airport was also conveniently close by.
